The BTEC Assigment submission process for 2017/2018 just got nastier....

Wow.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any touger, Pearson comes along and changes the rules again.

In the old days, of 2016, you could:

  • Submit an assignment

  • be given two weeks to do a resubmission without any help at all

if you haven't passed by that point you were

  • given a new assignment containing pass criteria only

  • given two weeks to do this assignment, again without help.

if you didn't manage to pass this one you were removed from the course.

Not any more. Now you are:

  • given the assignment

  • once it is marked and you have not completed all tasks, your work is sent to the Internal Verifier

  • If the Internal Verifier agrees, you MAY given two weeks to improve your grade.

  • If you haven't passed at this point you are removed from the course.

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO A RETAKE.

It is therefore vital that you complete all pass criteria before you submit your assignment, make sure you have spoken with your course tutor who will tell you what you need to do. Good Luck.
